If you go kayaking all wound up.... chances are you'll go for a swim. But swimming isn't the end of the world. In fact we encourage it!
The first thing we suggest is to make sure you're comfortable in the water. The second is how to get in and out of the boat from the water.
Getting in from the land and paddle technique can wait till later.
Why? If you're not afraid of where you could end up then you're more likely to try new things and challenge yourself.
We're not setting out to run Niagara Falls or surf tsunamis, that's crazy talk. A challenge can be as simple as paddling to the end of the beach and back or beating your time from last week.
